Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She was a television host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. Sheryl spent the majority of her childhood caring for her sister Frankie with polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl claims that her mom had a time when she stabbed her father for getting too close. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from the college. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest in the show Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. She has played in fictional show such as Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
