Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and performer famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised at Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sibling Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. While she was growing older she had numerous arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance, her mother knifed her father after he became intimate with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. She was interested in comedy. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV work in 1992 by appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV talk show Oh Drama! Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition she has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
